Current Aquatic Wellness gives your discharged patients a safe, structured next step: private, coached aquatic strength, balance and mobility training in their own home, community or club pool across Southwest Florida.
When formal therapy ends, many patients still want to get stronger, but they don't feel ready for a gym, a group class or exercising alone. We pick up where therapy leaves off, only after you've cleared them for independent exercise, and with a tailored plan you've reviewed and approved.

Our founder and head trainer, Jayce Delpopolo, is an AEA Certified Aquatic Fitness Professional and ATRI Certified (ATRIC) through the Aquatic Therapy & Rehab Institute, American Red Cross certified in First Aid/CPR/AED, and Current Aquatic Wellness carries liability insurance.
Every client gets a tailored training plan built around your precautions, restrictions and home exercise program. We send it back to you for review and approval before training begins.
Water resistance in every direction, with buoyancy reducing some of the load on the joints. Clients can keep building strength, balance and endurance in a setting that feels manageable.
No driving to a facility. Sessions take place at the client's home, HOA, condo or club pool in North Port, Wellen Park, Venice, Englewood and Port Charlotte.
Once your patient has completed therapy and you've cleared them for independent exercise, share our information or send the referral to us directly.
A free consultation, then a 60-minute in-pool assessment to establish a baseline for strength, balance, mobility and comfort in the water.
We build an individualized plan around your precautions and the client's goals, and send it back to you for review and approval. Nothing starts until you sign off.
An 8-week program, progressed session by session within the plan you approved. With your patient's permission, we keep you updated along the way.
Every client's plan goes back to their physician or therapist for approval, so you stay in the loop and your patient keeps progressing safely after discharge.
Current may be a good next step for clients who have been cleared for independent exercise and want to keep improving, including those:
Current Aquatic Wellness provides fitness training. We do not provide physical therapy, rehabilitation, diagnosis or medical treatment, and we do not work with anyone still in active rehabilitation. We refer clients back to their provider whenever something falls outside our scope.
We'd welcome the chance to introduce ourselves to your clinic or practice, answer questions and leave referral materials for your team.
