A personalized way of training built around one idea: your age doesn't define your ability.
The Current Approach is built around one principle:
Your age doesn't tell us what you can do. You do.
Two people can be the same age and have completely different abilities, medical histories, lifestyles and goals. That's why we start with the individual.
Before training begins, we want to understand your goals, movement history, comfort in the water and current abilities.
Most importantly, we want to understand what matters to you.
What do you want to keep doing?
Your program is then developed around your abilities and goals. There isn't a predetermined workout that everyone receives.
The program adapts to the person, not the other way around.
Getting older doesn't mean your body no longer needs to be challenged. Quite the opposite.
Appropriate resistance and progressive exercise remain important components of maintaining physical capacity.
The water allows us to create those challenges differently.
Bodies change. Injuries happen. Surgeries happen. Some days are better than others.
Good training recognizes that. Instead of forcing the body through a predetermined program, we adapt while continuing to work toward the larger goal.
When you're ready for more, we progress.
The objective is continued improvement, not simply repeating the same comfortable exercises indefinitely.
Everything comes back to this.
We don't train balance simply to become better at balancing.
We train it because you need balance when you're walking through the world.
We don't train strength simply to become stronger.
We train it because strength helps you continue doing things for yourself.
We don't train mobility simply to become more flexible.
We train it because movement creates freedom.
The Pool Is Where We Train. Life Is What We're Training For.
FLOW. A STRONGER YOU.
